Each junk skip bin has clearly marked fill levels, allowing you to fill to the level that you hire. If you hire a 4m3, you can fill to the 4m3 fill mark. The true benefit of our junk skip bin service comes to life if you incorrectly hire a skip bin smaller than you need. Other skip bin companies in Brisbane would have you hire a second skip bin for the excess waste, which is billed at full price. This isn’t the case with our skip bin service.

What size junk skip bin do I need?
Knowing what size skip bin to hire is one of the biggest complexities of hiring a skip bin, which is why we’ve taken this challenge out of the equation. Usually (with other skip bin hire companies), you hire a skip bin of a particular size, which is the size that gets delivered. This isn’t the case with our junk skip bins.
With 4 Waste Walk-In Skip Bins, the size you hire isn’t the physical size of the skip bin, but the amount of waste you think you have to dispose of. Regardless of which size you hire, we deliver either a 6m3 or an 8m3 junk skip bin to your property. Each skip bin has fill levels marked at each cubic metre to track how much rubbish you deposit into them.
The benefit in our billing structure comes to light if you hire a size that is less than the amount of junk you have to get rid of. Usually, if you hire a skip bin that is too small, you would then have to pall the full hire price of a second skip bin… and wait for the current skip bin to be collected and have a second delivered.
With our junk skip bins, you don’t have to worry about any of this. If you hire a smaller skip bin than the amount of junk you have, you can simply continue filling it until you have disposed of all your junk. On collection, you will only be charged the difference in price from the size you hired to the fill level your junk reaches. Are there any additional fees to be aware of?
While we do not like to charge customers with additional fees, we will do so in the event that the skip bin weight exceeds the allowed weight for the billed size and if the hire extends past 7-days.
Exceeding the weight limit will incur an $80 fee per additional 100kg. The current weight allowance for each hire based on the billable size is outlined below.

This entitles the customer to have the bin for 6 FULL DAYS. The bin will be collected on the 7th day. If a bin is delivered late in the afternoon, the collection then may occur early on the 7th day. For example, if a bin is delivered at 2:30 pm Tuesday, then collected at 7:00 am the following Tuesday, this is still considered a 7-day hire.
Customers will be billed $24 per day if a longer hire period is required.
