Besides the fact that you will be doing yourself a massive favour by choosing to hire a Walk-In Skip Bin from 4 Waste Walk-In Skip Bins Brisbane, there are some important things you should be aware of.
First, it’s important to understand our billing structure – see ‘How Does Your Billing Structure Work?’ above. It’s also important that you understand and agree to our Terms & Conditions. The two main areas to be wary of are the Weight Allowance and Permitted Waste Types.
There is a maximum weight allowance for each skip bin hire, which is outlined in our T&Cs. If you go over the weight allowance for the skip bin size you hire, you will be charged an extra $80 per additional 100kg you go over.
We are very strict in the waste we accept in our Walk-In Skip Bins, also outlined in our T&Cs.
Our Walk-In Garden Skip Bins strictly accept 100% green waste only. We class green waste as the following: Fruit and vegetable scraps, branches, stumps, palm fronds, tree limbs, twigs and small branches, lawn clippings, and other garden waste—no logs to be larger than 150mm in diameter.
Our Walk-In Junk Skip Bins accept specific household waste. Accepted waste includes and is limited to electronics, household appliances, white goods, furniture, toys, sports/gym equipment (check weight allowance per skip), sinks, baths, and barbecues (gas bottle removed).
Strictly prohibited waste includes asbestos, carpet, mattresses, carpet underlay, tires, bulk rubber, rubber matting, gas bottles, glass/mirrors, fluorescent tubes, tins of paint, bricks, soil, rocks, concrete, cement, tiles, dirt, sand, tyres, paint, chemicals, mulch, woodchips, bulk paper (junk mail, newspapers, office paper) or logs, stumps, and branches over 10cm diameter.
If you are unsure whether your waste is accepted, please call us on 0413 333 330.
Failure to abide by our permitted waste types will likely result in your rubbish not being collected.
